Cheesy Grilled Potato Packets

Creamy. Cheesy. Hot off the grill. That's what these Cheesy Grilled Potato Packets are all about and they are an awesome easy side dish!

Serves: 6 servings
  • 5 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 T. butter
  • ⅓ c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • ⅓ c. chicken broth
  1. Wash and peel 5 medium potatoes, slice thinly.
  2. Thinly slice a medium white onion.
  3. Place both the potatoes and the onions in the center of a large piece of heavy duty foil.
  4. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cheddar cheese, salt and pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Fold the foil up around the potatoes and add chicken broth.
  6. Seal the edges of the foil tightly.
  7. Grill packet on a covered grill over medium heat for about 30-35 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
